Which CPU processor is better INTEL or AMD?
I am planning on getting Vista premium when it comes out and if AMD is better, will that interfere with my Windows XP software?

I am considering building a PC which is fast and Has good graphics. I have the same question: Which is best Core 2 Duo or AMD?
Plus, what will the impact of the new operating system? Should I wait until it [Vista] comes out?
Hey guys, if you check out the Intel Quad-Core article’s comments there is some good information.
Seems AMD may have the bragging rights to the fastest processor right now, but the war is constantly raging.
Also, as to AMD compatibility with your operating system – both Windows XP and Windows Vista are compatible with AMD and Intel, among other, processors.
Imagine how unpopular AMD processors would be if they didn’t run Windows! If you are new to AMD, they really are great processors – I used them for many years and loved them.
There are some enhancements in the most recent processors and current bus configuration on the motherboard which allow for better graphics than ever before, so you seem to have picked a good time to build a new system.
We’d love to hear what you choose in the end, what you build, how you build it and more if you have time!
Contemplating a new laptop. If I buy one with CDRW and a
DDRW.. Which one should I use for most of my Copying and storing data. Photo, etc Which speed recomended for CD & DD’s. Thank You.
If anyone is going to build a new PC,then be sure to buy ( Windows XP Pro)If it is going to be a 64 Processor then go to the ( 64 Edition of Windows ) It is getting better supported, an is going to be the normal edition to be using with Vista,If you have Windows xp home,____ Be told now that you will receive minimal support from windows Vista,so with that said then, Vista will be made for ( Windows XP Pro ,XP Pro 64 Edition, an your friendly Mac dealers.Home will be use able to use with Vista.
Thats not what I have read. WindowsXp pro and windowsXP Pro. 64 are for variety of industries and office workers. As long as you have home edtion of xp you can upgrade to Vista premium.
