Micorsoft sells 60 Million Copies of Windows Vista
By the end of June, 2007 Microsoft had sold 60 million Windows Vista licenses. The company released this information at its annual meeting financial analysts. And the good news for Microsoft keeps coming—it has also noticed higher than expected renewal of Microsoft Office by large organizations. Together with MS Windows, Office forms the cornerstone of Microsoft’s software market. The Windows Vista operating software had sold 40 million copies in its first 100 days. Windows Vista was released in January and is geared towards 64-bit programs supported by multi core processors for intensive graphics, media, and security applications.
