Come celebrate the grand opening of the latest TigerDirect Outlet Store in the Northgate Mall, Durham, North Carolina this weekend as we spread the deals to both of our greater Raleigh-Durham locations on Saturday, August 4th, 2007.
The sixth TigerOutlet to open in the US, this store is the first located in a traditional retail mall setting. Our grand opening of the doors to the public was celebrated on Thursday, August 2nd, and we were able to get a few pictures from the staff showing off their new digs.
Starting at 9AM Saturday, you can enter hourly drawings to win great prizes, including a big screen TV! There will be FREE Giveaways all day while you discover all the great deals in PCs and electronics. Plus, this Saturday and Sunday take advantage of the North Carolina Back To School sales tax holiday on computers and notebooks! Pay NO Sales Tax on desktops and laptops and other qualifying items this weekend only!
Simply take Exit 176 off of I-85 to the Northgate Mall. TigerDirect’s Outlet is located next to Sears with both a mall and parking lot entrance.

The Durham location lacks customer service. I can tell by the caliber of their staff that they are not paid well.
It mainly consist of warm bodies that tell you to go ask someone else.
The someone else ends up being the only person that knows anything in the store.
Unfortunately, they are 5 deep with other customers trying to get their questions answered while the rest of the staff are talking about what they watched on TV last night.
It took 20 minutes for me to get an answer thst they couldn’t help me. Absolutely a joke.
