Sennheiser Wireless Earbuds Coming at CES

Sennheiser Wireless Earbuds MX W1CES related press-releases are flying - and why not give you a sneak peek at some of the upcoming gadgets at CES 2008? Sennheiser seems to be releasing wireless earbuds - yep, two separate ear buds completely wireless.

According to Sennheiser’s website: Earphones without annoying cables have been high up the wish list of technology-minded music fans for some time. Now at last there is transmission technology that works without compression and therefore without loss of audio quality. “In Kleer™ we’ve found the ideal technology partner for our MX W1 wireless earphones”, explained Stijn Jans, Managing Director of Sennheiser Consumer Electronics GmbH, Singapore branch. “Kleer’s digital radio transmission technology produces excellent sound quality which means that for the first time we are in a position to offer our customers wireless earphones without compromising our special Sennheiser sound.” The MX W1 combines the new transmission technology with high-quality dynamic systems and Sennheiser’s twist-to-fit system that keeps earphones securely and comfortably in your ear.

Sennheiser Wireless Earbuds MX W1The new product from Sennheiser utilizes Kleer technology for audio transmission and is not for use with cellular phones. While yet an uproven technology in the field, we’ll see how Sennheiser makes out with their new MX W1 earbuds.
