Acer has provided the wow factor in notebooks with their Ferrari series – which was wildly popular at TigerDirect as well! The last sub-compact notebook from Ferrari was criticized for lack of an optical drive, and Acer has taken that into consideration with their latest entry – the UMPC Ferrari 1100.
According to the PC Magazine article, “The Acer Ferrari 1100 ($1,860 street), though far from being the lightest ultraportable on the market, improves upon the 1000 by integrating a slot-loading DVD burner.” Specs that impress will also wow you for a UMPC type device that stretches it’s elbows into the standard notebook arena.
