I am doing a graffiti art piece that I recorded 4 hrs in HD w/a Cannon HV20. I am planning on time lapsing the video into about 5 mins of overall footage. I do not believe that I have interval recording on my camera...and if I do then I'm sucker and didn't use it...now is there a way to speed up this video other than messing with the speed duration? I heard about cutting frames...a friend loaned me "Locked, Stocked and Two Smokin Barrels" and they mentioned in the bonus footage than you can speed or slow down the footage by cutting or adding frames. I am probably going to do this but that seems very, VERY time consuming. I am using final cut express and wanted to know if there is a way I can have the software delete frames for me? Any kind of tips or tricks will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again and keep up the great work.

Hi,

It's nice to see my video i made is used as an example!

In fact for this clip i only used a webcam! A very simple philip ToUcam 740k.
I took a picture every 15seconds and after a few hours you have a couple of hundred snapshots. I used gif animator pro to stitch all photos together and put the playing time on 1/20s for each photo.
So know you have a movie! Just save it as AVI and voila (dont forget some divx compression or else it will be huge!
