Sceptre products are created out of innovation and as you rightly pointed, every new product released offers a unique feature enhancing the elegance of the technology. This sceptre lcd hdtv is a great one to own. Every element of color is clearly distinguished in this lcd hdtv. I have seen few HD TVs wherein the picture quality is awesome while the sound quality is not up to the mark.

It is good to know that this model comes with a superior picture quality in addition to crystal clear sound.

I am considering purchasing a Sceptre 32" 1080p Widescreen LCD HDTV - X32BV-FULLHD.

My Problem: I have no HDMI and no intention of obtaining it.
I have ONLY my Home Coaxial Cable.

Will this TV connect to my EXISTING Coaxial Cable in my home ???
Will this TV connect to RCA [2] "banana plugs" ???
Will this TV connect to my Mac 1/8" stereo Out ???

Thanks

ALOHA!! I've been looking for a new TV for two mos. ( i-net & local vendors ). I bought two 37" Vizios from Costco; first a VW series, 780p - next a VO series 1080p. I was not totally satisfied with either and I returned them to Costco and got my cash back - no problems w/ returns at Costco. Costco now has a Sceptre 32" 1080p on sale for $449.99, I'm going to go look at it today.
I would have already bought a "32LG70" which has great features: 'Clear Voice Technology' - 'Auto Volume Leveler' - and (? don't remember?) 6 or 8 different picture modes - 4 speakers which transmit audio waves to the ENTIRE TV set for a superior sound experience - and more! The ONLY reason I haven't bought this LG is, although it has composite audio out -THERE IS NO VIDEO OUT.
A lot of VERY SMART people have designed fabulous technology in the dual (analog & digital) tuner/receiver and it's GREAT. We PAY for this but do NOT get to fully access it with AV out - WHY? Some sets, such as Insignia have an RCA pin plug out (yellow) next to the stereo (r & w) outputs - I figure this gives us PARTIAL access to utilize the tuners, as long as we are recording or burning whatever is being displayed on the screen at the moment, I guess. If there were an AV out we could record/burn several different programs & at the same time watch another on the TV. This would be GREAT!!!!
Can you PLEASE let me know WHY manufacturers are not giving us AV out (from their great tuners). Is it part of "Planned Obsolescence" - Market as many as possible first and THEN, later, market the new improved model with an AV out?
  Thank YOU very much for your time & efforts. ---- the Joe ---- P.S. P L E A S E send me a reply.
