Michael and Dwight decide to surprise Ryan in New York for a night of clubbing and to meet his friends. 
After breaking up with Jan, Michael realizes it is time to start dating, again.
Karen is now the regional manager of the Utica branch and uses her position of power to woo Stanley to her branch. For the right price, Stanley agrees to make the transfer. 
Michael gets excited to know Dunder Mifflin bought television ad space in local markets, including Scranton. Michael wants to create the perfect commercial.

This prompts him to hold a charity 5k fun run to support Rabies after finding that a bag with a potentially rabid bat was put over his victim’s head, taking the attention off of him.
