Futures My Desire

A holographic desktop PC that I can carry with me anywhere. To open, turn on, and begin interacting with hands and fingers with holographic images, whether setting in an airplane, train, bus stop or opera.

To interact with holographic images, manipulating files, jpegs, .gif, surfing, this kind of technical advancement is my dream as well as yours.

I will appreciate greatly: all & any; any links to information on this dream, reality, inventions, ideas. As well any companies that are developing tech to this nature, their company symbol, stock, to invest with, URL, website, etc.

Also would like to send my encouragements to any individuals that have this tech know-how to pursue this (fifth dimensional avenue) of realities unlimited.

thankx kindly ~your friend ~ jimoer ` i ke`

ENV Hydrogen fuel cell powered motorcycle from HondaThe World’s First Purpose Built Fuel Cell Motorcycle
With fuel prices on the rise, maybe it’s time for a change. We’ve seen hybrid cars from manufactures like Honda, Toyota and Lexus – but how about something even better. Introducing the world’s first purpose built fuel cell motorcycle – the ENV. The ENV is nearly emission free because it runs on Hydrogen. A single tank can last up to 100 miles in urban use. The ENV only has one gear, so it’s easy to ride for the novice and fun to ride for the advanced. The frame of the ENV is created out of hollow-cast aircraft grade aluminum and the rear mono-shock suspension is hidden in the swing-arm itself.

Tech News Wrap Up For The Week Of January 15, 2007

Hurricane force winds crossed Europe from west to east this week, causing HavokBlack Hats Up On Current Events Launch Virus Wave
Virus writers attacked thousands of computers on Friday with a Malware program that a security company has dubbed the “storm worm”.  The difference between this attack and others like it was the tag line of infected emails sent to victim computers: “230 dead as storm batters Europe”.  While the worm essentially functions as a Trojan horse, allowing unapproved access to the computer for theft or spam production, this marks one of the first times virus writers have used such relevant current events to legitimize their spam email.  The storm in question blew winds up to 120 mph through Europe, causing deaths across the continent due to falling debris and traffic accidents.  The actual death toll is well, well under 230, however.

Don’s Journey Through the Digital Universe

Neanderthal

Don of the Digital Age

I was born 55 years ago in a small coal mining town in southern West Virginia, the spawn of a Jewish couple whose roots were in Poland and Russia.  As I took in my first gulp of air, Harry Truman was putting the finishing touches on his administration and my I Like Ike first recognition of politics was the bitter pills my parents swallowed after successive defeats of Adlai Stevenson at the hands of Dwight Eisenhower.

Review of LaCie Porsche 500gb External Hard Drive

This is a quick review of the LaCie Porsche 500gb external Hard drive available right now on TigerDirect for 209.99 with NO REBATES!

hdd My buddy ordered this drive a while ago from TigerDirect and received it last night. The initial reaction is “Wow“…

Aside from the drives standard stats and lack of FireWire 800, this drive is AWESOME. Initially it was much smaller than I anticipated, and the brushed aluminum front looks great. It has a huge power brick, but all external drives unfortunately seem to have this.

Lack of FireWire 800 would keep data-intensive Video and Photo editors away from this drive, though. The price ($209.99 right now on TigerDirect) also makes it a great drive for the buck.

An Extreme Gaming Machine! Systemax Intel® Core™2 Extreme QX6700

Talk about an extreme machine? The heart of this system is Intel’s new Systemax Intel Quad-Core QX6700Quad-Core QX6700 Extreme processor. By far, one of the best processors on the market today. Intel prides itself on the quad-core technology mainly due to significant improvements in system responsiveness that made certain tasks to be off-loaded to specific cores. In laypersons terms, the processor selects jobs to be handled by specific cores. Thus it breaks up the workload and makes the PC run more efficiently and faster.
