South Florida Technology Summit

The South Florida Technology Summit took place at our Miami Headquarters this week. It featured over 40 technology exhibitors, including some of the top brands in the industry. The latest products, and newest technologies. It was such an epic event, there was food, drinks, technology, techies and tons of prizes. It was such a great experience and I am already a bit too excited for next year, so far it has been the biggest Tech Convention in Miami! Even The Lab  Miami was there and they hosted a Start-up demo night, where local start-ups were able to showcase their latest project, pitch it to the crowd and some even got investors interested in their big projects. See you next year Miami!

E-Waste: Toxins in Everyday Technology

3480302

Have you ever upgraded any of your technology? Chances are you have, because as technology advances faster than we can catch up, we tend to replace our “obsolete” older technology and replace it with faster, better, and more powerful items that give us the tools that we need. So what happens to this old tech? Do you throw it away? or do you Recycle it? I guess you can have many answers, but the worst place for this Tech to end up , is in a landfill. You see When your old tech ends up in landfills, it eventually begins to  leak and it begins to contaminate its immediate environment.  Over time, the toxic chemicals of a landfill’s e-waste can seep into the ground (it can even possibly enter the water supply) or escape into the atmosphere, affecting the health of nearby communities and our earths atmosphere.
