The war waging between the two brands to become the “VHS†of the high definition disc format has been steaming hot and extraordinarily heavy. Just a couple of months ago there seemed to be no end in site. But since this year’s CES in Las Vegas, and a couple of key endorsements from Warner Bros and National Geographic, it seems that the blueprints are being drafted for the eminent tombstone of the HD-DVD format.
Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Scheduled for Release on PS3 Next Year
Capcom has come to their senses and announced that they will indeed release Lost Planet: Extreme Condition for the Play Station 3. The iconic game company had originally ruled out a PS3 version, but announced recently that gamers would see the title in blu-ray dress early in 2008. Despite the rabid back and forth between fanboys of the various different systems, the release of this year-old game is a good thing.
